Do you have recycling for plastic pots?
We do! We accept plastic garden pots of all sizes, hanging baskets, and trays. We are one of several satellite collection sites for the Missouri Botanical Garden's popular Plastic Pot Recycling. The Recycling Trailer is located on Walton, between Olive and Washington. Gardeners must sort and separate their plastic by it's numbered type, #6 plastic (polystyrene cell packs and trays) from #2 and #5 plastic (all other pots)for recycling. Remember to shake soil and rocks out of the containers and remove all metal hangers, rings, or other materials which can interfere with the plastic grinding process. Garden edging, plastic sheeting materials, and food plastic will not be accepted.
