Allium senescens 'Glaucum'
Ornamental Onion
Lilac or mauve flowers in tight umbels and linear, flat, slightly twisted foliage is grayish-green. Leaves smell like onions if bruised.
Growing & Maintenance Tips
Sun or partial shade in ordinary soil. This species is a clump former and is easily lifted and divided. The compactness of the clump makes this plant ideal as a border edging plant. Good in rock gardens as well.
