Paeonia 'Bowl of Beauty'

Paeonia (Japanese Peony)

Japanese Peony

Soft pink double bloom with showy yellow stamens, fragrant. Attractive green foliage, strong stems.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Full sun or light shade, well-drained soils. Don't plant too deep (won't bloom), too close to trees and shrubs or soil that is too dry. Do not over fertilize. Great specimen plant, fits in great in the perennial border. Good cut flower.

Interesting Information
Paeonia is of the Greek derivation from the name of the physician Paeon. Pluto changed Paeon into a flower in gratitude for Paeon's successful cure after Hercules defeated Pluto. Parts of the plant are poisonous.
