Very large white double flowers with crimson flakes dappling central petals,fragrant, very floriferous, vigorous grower. Strong stems and dark green foliage.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Full sun or light shade, well-drained soil. Some reasons peonies may not bloom include planting too deeply, planting too closely to trees and shrubs and soil that is too dry. Do not over fertilize, only every several years. Specimen plant in the perennial border and for cut flowers. The flowers are very showy.

Interesting Information
Paeonia is of Greek derivation from the name of teh physician Paeon. Pluto changed Paeon into a flower in gratitude for Paeon's successful cure after Hercules defeated Pluto. Parts of the plant are poisonous.
