Anemone hybrida 'Whirlwind'
Japanese Anemone
This vigorous group of perennials is great for adding that late season interest into the garden. Blooming in mass, the slighlty cupped flowers seem to float on multibranched wiry stems held high above mounds of deeply-divided dark green leaves. Blooms September- October, 4" wide semi-double pure white flowers with soft ruffled edges.
Growing & Maintenance Tips
Morning sun and filtered afternoon light combined with a fertile, moist humus-rich soil. No wind exposure or wet soils. Excellent border plant that provides color in late summer and fall.
