Greenish 1" cylindrical flowers that hang bell-like on the underside of the unbranched stems. Large, graceful beauty arching stems have 2"x5" long green leaves with obvious paralleled veins, fruit is blue.

Shade and cool, moist soil. Best in naturalized areas, wild gardens, woodlots, shrub borders or the shadiest part of the perennial border.
