Thymus citriodorus 'Silver Queen'

Thymus citriodorus (Silver Thyme)

Silver Thyme

White-lilac flowers. Dark green with white edged foliage.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Full sun in loose, well-drained soil. Thyme will perform very well in poor, dry soil and is less vigorous in partial shade. This thyme is usually grown for its fragrant and culinary uses. The leaves and flowering stems are used in sachets, and the dried flowers have been used to preserve linens from insects. This is also a good plant for the border and rock garden.

Interesting Information
Thymus is the ancient Greek name for aromatic herbs. This variety is not very hardy.
