Acer griseum (Paperbark Maple)

Paperbark Maple

Light green leaves open in bunches of three or five. Fruits are unusually large, light green. Dark bluish-green trifoliate leaves often turn brilliant red in fall, more so in the East than in the Midwest.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Extremely tolerant of acid or alkaline clay soils, as long as they are well drained. Serves well as a specimen or small lawn tree, in a shrub border, or in grouping.

Interesting Information
Has a rich cinnamon to reddish brown exfoliating bark. Looks beautiful in the winter snow.
