Pulmonaria 'Moonshine'
Lungwort
Small, pale blue-white flowers which is wonderfully different then other Pulmonaria. Shimmering silver-white leaves are more rounded then the norm with a thin edge of darkest green surrounding each leaf.
Growing & Maintenance Tips
Full to partial shade in moist and cool soil of average fertility. It is important to have sufficient moisture. Wilted and ragged leaves are often the result of dry conditions. Single specimen or massed to create a ground cover effect. The distinctive spots on the leaves make this plant valuable even after flowering.
Interesting Information
Pulmonaria is derived from pulmo, a lung, and refers to the reported value of the leaves in treatment of lung diseases.
