Frikart's Aster
Lavender-blue flowers. Alternate leaves, oblong to oblanceolate. Leaves are entire to remotely serrate near the apex.
Growing & Maintenance Tips
Full sun, well-drained soil of average fertility. Remember to stop cutting back mid to late July for fall blooming varieties. Asters do require dividing every two to three years to retain vigor.
Interesting Information
Aster is derived from Greek and refers to the star-like shape of the flower.
