Paeonia 'Primavere'

Peony

Giant ball of yellow and white double petals surrounded by a collar of single white petals. Green foliage.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Full sun or light shade, well-drained soil. If planted too deep, paeonies won't bloom. Do not over fertilize, only every several years. Great specimen plant in the perennial border and for cut flower. Flowers are very showy.

Interesting Information
Paeonia is of Greek derivation from the name of the physician Paeon. Pluto changed Paeon into a flower in gratitude for Paeon's successful cure after Hercules defeated Pluto. Parts of the plant are poisonous.
