Astilbe 'Bridal Veil'

Astilbe (Astilbe)

Astilbe

Long, wide, loosely clustered white plumes with green foliage. One of the best white Astilbes.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
General culture for growing is a moist, shady or partially shaded area. They can tolerate morning sun, but tend to burn in afternoon sun. Organically rich, moist, well-drained soil is needed. Well-drained soil is important to prevent rotting of the roots during the winter months. Great plant for en masse or as a specimen.

Interesting Information
Hybridized by the skillful talent of George Arends of Germany, this group of hybrids is a result of numerous crosses between A. chinesis var. davidii, A. japonica, A. thundbergii, and A. astilboides. Over 95% of Astilbes are in this group.
