Growing & Maintenance Tips
Easily grown in full sun and ordinary soil. It is one the few grasses that will do well in heavy soil. It performs well in moist to wet areas. This species is one of the best medium-sized grasses. It can be used as a specimen, in a massed planting, or along streams,ponds, and other wet areas.

Interesting Information
This is a cool season grass that performs well throughout the hottest days of summer. PPA 2001 Plant of the Year and a Missouri Botanical Garden Plant of Merit 2002.
