Clematis jackmanii 'Superba'

Clematis jackmanii (Jackman Clematis)

Jackman Clematis

Masses of 4-6" rich velvet-purple flowers. Green foliage.

Growing & Maintenance Tips
Clematis need moist, alkaline soil with good drainage. Use the Queen of vines to decorate a mailbox or lamppost, shade a porch or pergola, scramble over a shrub or into a tree, along the top of a fence or wall, or weave among perennials as a groundcover. Roots have to remain cool and their foliage exposed to the sun.

Interesting Information
Blooms on current year's growth only, prune hard in spring. This variety is an improved form of Clematis jackmanii with fuller flowers.
