Tucked neatly into plant-filled Bowood, Café Osage is a bright, light filled bistro with a menu balancing breakfast and lunch classics with modern adaptations.

Cafe Osage gets its name from the Osage Orange trees that line our farm, Bowood Farms, in Clarksville, Missouri. The highly prized wood of the Osage Orange tree was made into bows by the Native Americans.

Chef Scott Davis’ focus is always on seasonal, garden fresh fare, much of which is grown in our own Central West End garden. You will be welcomed with beautiful views, whether you are gazing into the courtyard or dining al fresco among the plants.

Growing produce in our 1/4 acre, Central West End garden and hoop house, allows us to provide high quality, fresh ingredients in our dishes. It also gives us the ability to grow unique ingredients that we might not be able to find elsewhere. In addition, the roof of our restaurant is home to an herb garden, a strawberry patch and endless edible flowers. This provides garnish for our dishes and important ingredients for our house-made herbal sodas and cocktails.
