Bowood Farms, Café Osage and Holliday are Closed on the following days:

Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Bowood Farms and Holliday will Close Early on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Return & Hold Policies

What is the Bowood return policy?

Products may be returned within 14 days of purchase in original packaging and condition, with receipt. Plants may be returns within 24 hours of purchase in original container and condition, with receipt. Sale and discounted purchases are not returnable.

Do you offer a warranty on trees and/or shrubs?

Bowood Farms warranties the health and survival of trees and shrubs that are planted in the ground for 3 months from the date of purchase at full purchase price. Our warranty is limited to replacement of the plant or a store credit in the amount of the purchase price of the plant, if a replacement is not available, not a refund. Additional costs such as labor and delivery are not covered under the warranty. We recommend that customers follow the planting and care instructions on our website to ensure plant success.

Does Bowood offer delivery?

Our delivery services are available weekly and are for homeowners in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Call today for our current delivery rates.

Do you offer installation services?

We install material that is in a two gallon or larger container. All materials must be purchased from Bowood. Proper soil amendments and mulch are included with all installations. Our installation services are available weekly and are for homeowners in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Call today for our installation rates.

What is the return policy for Holliday?

All items may be returned within 14 days of purchase in original packaging and condition, with receipt. Items without receipt can be returned for store credit only, at current selling price. Sale and discounted purchases are not returnable.

What's the policy on holding merchandise?

We are happy to hold unpaid merchandise for 24 hours. Paid merchandise will be held 2 weeks.

Cafe Osage

Do you accept reservations?

Yes! While they are not required, weekend reservations are encouraged. Unfortunately, we do not accept same-day reservations on the weekends. Reservations can be made through resy.com or by calling the café at 314-454-6868

Can I place an order for carryout or delivery?

You can place “to go” orders on Monday – Friday by calling the café at 314-454-6868. Also on Monday – Friday, we offer delivery through The Food Pedaler.  Due to weekend volume, we do not offer delivery or “to go” orders on Saturday and Sunday.

Can you accommodate large parties?

From Monday – Thursday we can accommodate up to a party of 16. On Friday – Sunday we can only accommodate a party up to 8 people. Large party reservations should be made at least one week in advance. For parties of 7 or more, gratuity will be automatically added to the bill. For more information or to make a large party reservation please speak with one of our managers at 314-454-6868.

What is your outside dessert or cake cutting policy?

If your party intends to bring an outside dessert that requires plating please contact our manager to make arrangements and discuss our associated fees.

Do you allow animals?

We love animals! Well-behaved pets are welcomed shopping companions and are gladly served on our cafe patio with their owners. Please do keep in mind that patio seating is limited and is on a first come, first serve basis. We do not accept reservations for patio seating due to the risk of inclement weather.

When is your patio open?

Our patio is open from Spring to Fall, weather permitting. Patio seating is on a first come, first serve basis. We do not accept reservations for patio seating due to the risk of inclement weather. 

Do you host weddings, receptions or rehearsal dinners?

No, we unable to accommodate those types of events.

The Studio at Bowood

How can I be one of the first to know about a new schedule?

Don’t miss another class or workshop at The Studio! Sign up for our newsletter and you will be the first person to know when we release a new month of classes, workshops or any other exciting events at Bowood. 

What supplies should I bring?

For most of our classes, the supplies are provided. If not, it will be noted in the description of the event.

When should I arrive for class?

We open the studio 10 minutes prior to the scheduled class time. If you arrive early, feel free to browse Bowood or grab a refreshment at Café Osage.

Is there an age requirement for workshops?

Most of our workshops are designed for adults, but teens might enjoy them too! Reach out for more information at events@bowoodfarms.com.

What if I signed up for a class but can't make it or need to cancel?

Notice of withdrawal from a workshop or class must be made at least 14 days prior to the start date. No refunds or transfers will be given for withdrawals made after that time. No refunds or transfers will be given for workshops or classes missed due to illness, personal conflict, or other reasons. Bowood reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule a workshop or class to adjust for enrollment. If Bowood cancels a workshop or class, you may transfer to another workshop or class or receive a full refund. Please email events@bowoodfarms.com if you wish to withdraw from a workshop or class.

Is the studio available for rental?

Yes! The studio is available for rental. It makes a great space for your next meeting or a private class as a team building exercise. When there are no other classes or workshops scheduled, The Studio is available during regular Bowood operating hours. A minimum of two-hours must be met for the rental.

Catering is available from Café Osage but no outside food is allowed. If you are interested in renting the studio please contact our event coordinator by filling out this form.
