Part Time Sales Associate

Job Summary: Bowood Farms expanded and opened Holliday across Olive Street in winter of 2018. Holliday houses a collection of our favorites for inside your home. We love all things that are well designed and well-made plus fun items that put a smile on your face. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team and assist us in providing excellent customer service in a relaxed environment. Come work for a family owned and operated business located in a beautiful one of a kind space.

Reports To: Owner

Time Requirement: Part time with both weekday and weekend availability. Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work as needs arise.

Required Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome all customers to the store and offer assistance and guidance
  • Uphold a high standard of customer satisfaction by building strong sales and service relationships with customers
  • Learn and master Lightspeed, our POS system
  • Exhibit a familiarity with current product and trend awareness
  • Uphold store cleanliness standards and ensure that all merchandising and visual standards are executed
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to Owner
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures

Qualifications & Requirements: Experience in a retail sales environment is strongly encouraged. Applicants must be organized and able to multi-task, proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail POS systems preferred.

Physical Requirements: Majority of work performed will take place on your feet and may include lifting and moving merchandise.

Cafe Osage

Busser

Busser

Location: Cafe Osage 4605 Olive Street,  St. Louis, MO 63108

Job Summary: Bussers are responsible for cleaning tables, taking plates, utensils and drink ware to the kitchen to be washed. They reset tables for next service, fill coffee, restock utensils and fill water bottles for next service. They also take out the trash, recycling and dirty linens.

Time Requirement: Must be able to work weekends. Times will vary daily but in general Monday – Sunday 9 am – 3:30 pm.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Good customer service is a priority. Must maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and appearance with courteousness and quick service for our guests.
  • Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive.
  • Teamwork is essential. You will be working with servers, other bussers, bartenders and cooks to make a great dining experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift. Busy days are to be expected.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects like trash bags and recycling bins.

Host / Hostess

Host / Hostess

Job Summary: A Host/Hostess presents a positive first impression of Cafe Osage’s friendliness, excellent service and high standards. The Host/Hostess also greet Guests upon arrival, inform Guests of their wait time, monitor waiting list, enter Guest names and phone number into our reservation/wait list app Resy, answer phone and communicate with manager and kitchen about reservations.

Time Requirement: Monday 9 am – 3 pm, Tuesday 10 am – 3 pm, Thursday 10 am – 3 pm, Saturday & Sunday 8 am – 3 pm.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus.
  • Must be upbeat, outgoing, positive and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests.
  • Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenish water service and coffee.
  • Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift.

  • Keep a clean and organized work station at all times.
  • Assist with prep and daily inventory.

  • Complete daily cleaning tasks.
  • Keep a clean and organized work station at all times.
  • Machine and hand wash all kitchen and dining wares.
  • Disposal of waste and recycling.
  • Restocking of cleaning supplies.
