American Bittersweet 'Autumn Revolution'
This is a brand new selection of the native American Bittersweet plant (Celastrus scandens). But, unlike the species, you only need one plant to bear fruit. The majority of the flowers formed on Autumn Revolution™ are perfect, meaning that the flower itself has both male and female parts. And the fruit is very large -- it's twice the size of berries normally seen on the species. The fruit is attractive to birds and people. It keeps its bright colors when dried so it's great for floral arrangements. Autumn Revolution™ is a vigorous grower and very winter hardy to Zone 3.
